Welcome to the UB-AAPS Student Chapter Home Page!

The purpose of this web site is to provide general information about the UB-AAPS Student Chapter, the AAPS, and pharmaceutical sciences at the University at Buffalo. The UB-AAPS Student Chapter is comprised of undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. The mission of the UB-AAPS Student Chapter is to introduce students to the benefits of AAPS membership, examine contemporary issues related to pharmaceutical research through seminars and symposia, and to increase awareness and prepare students for the various employment opportunities that exist in the pharmaceutical sciences. The Student Chapter at UB is open to all undergraduate and graduate students and post-doctoral fellows at the University of Buffalo and Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

We encourage all students and postdoctoral fellows interested in biomedical, pharmaceutical, and biotech research to participate in this Student Chapter. Students will have various opportunities to attend and present original research at local, regional, and national meetings. Professional and social activities are planned to increase participation at the local and national level with pharmaceutical scientists and foster personal and professional growth.
